Manoa is an ancient valley , rich in history, and residential development in Honolulu, the capital of the state of Hawaii. Downtown Honolulu borders the district to the north, and the terrain is more mountainous. Manoa is a beautiful place that offers residents an excellent housing infrastructure, great education, and numerous improvements to everyday life.
The valley stretches from the inland Manoa Falls to King Street. The residential area consists of private houses built before 1960 and low-rise apartment blocks.
The University of Hawaii at Manoa is located at the front of the valley. Over 200 courses are offered at 18 faculties. Among them are the departments (schools) of oceanography, tropical agriculture, and Hawaiian knowledge.
Vast and beautiful green areas characterize Manoa. The location is ideal for hiking and spending free time outdoors.
Rainbows are a common phenomenon in the valley, so various sports teams from UH Manoa, such as Rainbow Warriors and Rainbow Wahine, take their name from this phenomenon.
